The photographs just don't do this wonderful jem justice!!! My boyfriend and I went up for a weekend to celebrate his new job and we were anything BUT disappointed! We hit traffic on the way up so I had called to let the staff know, and they were so understanding they left directions and a key to our room for... More

Why haven't I written a review for The Lodge at Camden Hills yet?! We took an impromptu trip up the Coast this past winter. The Lodge is one of the only destinations in the area that is open year round. What a wonderful surprise! The snow, the soak in the Jacuzzi, the crackling REAL fireplace (complete with fire-starter and wood... More

This was my first stay in Camden but won't be my last. It is a fun community and accessible to many day trips. The Lodge at Camden Hills was so comfortable that I got the rest and relaxation of a vacation along with some fantastic sight seeing and shopping. My cottage overlooked the ocean and I saw the most beautiful... More

My husband planned a very romantic and relaxing evening for us at The Lodge at Camden Hills as a surprise for my 30th Birthday. We are a couple who work full-time and have two wonderful children and we rarely get quality time just the two of us. The cottage in which we stayed in was absolutley wonderful. It was clean,... Traveling with my Labrador Retriever Wilson it was a pleasant surprise to find this pet friendly oasis in one of the most beautiful regions of Maine. We were welcomed by Kelly and her sidekicks Oslo (Schmo) and Phil, two inviting pups. Our cottage was warm and inviting with a spactacular view of Penoscot Bay. This place is truly a gem.

My stay at the Lodge at Camden Hills was so incredible. It felt like my home away from home. The cabin was so inviting with the fireplace, jacuzzi and the deck overlooking Penobscot Bay. I loved the area, the smell of the pines and salty air. I can't wait to return in the Spring. Visiting with Kelly, her dogs Oslo... More

The Lodge at Camden Hills is on Rte. 1 but set up on a bluff so traffic noises are almost non-existent. The bluff also provides a tree filtered view of Penobscot Bay. The inn is just 1 mile north of Camden so getting to town is easy and it is about 6 miles south of Lincolnville Beach, which has a... More

My husband and I spent two nights at the Lodge after leaving Portland. Camden is an adorable city and the Lodge was relaxing. It is not in the town center, but only a few miles away, less then a five minute drive. We got room 16, one with a fireplace. There was firewood stacked outside the door and cut into... More

We never had a chance to stay at this property because they overbooked the lodge. We were contacted just a couple of hours prior to our check in (for one night) and were told that we no longer had a room. The manager, Leif, apologized and said that he felt bad, but said that a very large group was coming... More

Visited The Lodge at Camden Hills again! This is one of the best kept secrets in Maine. We stayed in a Jacuzzi cottage and had a fantastic trip. The room was clean, had a fireplace and Jacuzzi, a deck and a cute kitchen. We woke up to the sun rising, coffee on the deck and the beautiful view of the... More
