We spent three nights here. We try to go to Camden often during the off season and this was our first stay at the Grand Harbor Inn, but it will not be our last. We love the handy location. You walk to the restaurants and shops. The room was large, comfortable with understated elegance. How can you dislike having breakfast... More

We made it an evening getaway with dining and staying at the inn. We had a lovely evening meal at the Waterfront Restaurant after drinks, crackers and cheese's in our room. The stay was very quiet and woke to a brilliant sunny morning with a beautiful bay out our front door and nice light breakfast at our door. The view... More

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Harbor Inn in Camden Maine for 5 nights over the 4th of July in 2011. We reserved a water front room with king bed. Having never been to this location before, we were not really sure what to expect. We were pleasently surprised. The rooms were luxury through and through. Everything about... More

Visited Camden midweek in April. Used the internet special and booked a Waterfront Deluxe for $201 per night including tax. This is a good deal. Large room with a king bed, huge bathroom with jacuzzi and walk in shower, sitting area in room and harbor front deck with two chairs and a table. The room was clean, the concierge's were... More

The Grand Harbor Inn is a reat perfect for a relaxing weekend away. The property is well appointed, comfortable, has amazing views into Camden Harbor (especially room #1!) and is situated right in the center of all that makes Camden great. The staff were friendly and eager to make our stay just right. The only thing missing is a pool... More

I'm staying here during the shoulder season, so the crowds are diminished but not the allure of Camden. Many restaurants are open as is the Grand Harbor. I would not truly call this a five star hotel but by TA standards it certainly is. The location is excellent with fine dining just steps outside the front door. There are also... More

Easter getaway! What a wonderful surprise. Welcomed by Assistant Manager Nicole Hawkes and offered a beverage of our liking. Nicole is a professional and attentive staff member who helped to make our stay wonderful with suggestions of places to eat and church service times for the Easter Vigil. I fear sharing our room number (No. 5) because it probably won't... More

Having stayed in a waterfront suite at the Grand Harbor for a three day mid-week, mid-winter getaway to the quintessential Maine seacoast town of Camden, we've been spoiled. Two walls of windows bank two sides of Room 1, offering unobstructed views up the harbor past Curtis Island and toward Penobscot Bay. I understand how some may find fault with the... More

We took a weekend getaway in Camden at the Grand Harbor Inn. My husband purchased a package which included a dozen long stemmed roses, a box of exquisite unique chocolates from a local choclatier, a bottle of champaigne, and a $75 gift card to be used at a restaurant called "Fresh". We loved the hotel. It was very clean, had... More

This was the second time we stayed here, and it was just as wonderful, it not better, than before. The staff is superb, the breakfast better than last time, and the weather contributed to our confort. Now adding this Inn to one of our favorite places to get away in the Winter.
