We just spent a night at the Towne Motel. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to all of downtown Camden. The motel innkeeper was pleasant and helpful. The motel was immaculate and the price was reasonable. We would definitely stay there again!

Just spent a couple of days in Camden and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Innkeeper was a doll and the room was spotless. We much prefer locally owned and the Towne Motel is a gem.

After surveying the choices, I chose to stay at the Town Motel on price. It is a basic facility. Clean, located close to town, with caring, responsible owners. Reservation process was smooth. Arrival after hours was taken into account with my room key in an envelope taped to the office door. The room was OK. Clean. The property was quiet... More

Camden is an expensive place to sleep. In most locations this motel would be 30% less. This is a basic standard motel with comfortable beds and is clean. Rooms are no smoking but smoking is allowed outside the rooms. We were on the second floor which has a wooden balcony facing the parking lot. Chairs are outside each room which become... More

My Husband & I spent 11 days touring New England. Deep into our trip, we stayed at a crummy hotel in Bangor (bad decision). not wanting to sleep there, or even shower. We spent the day in Acadia, and with no hotel reservations, we turned to Trip Advisor to find a hotel on our route back to Boston. My husband... More

My husband and I stayed at the Towne again this year while visiting Camden. The rooms are very clean and neat, the hotel is close to downtown so you can park and never have to drive again and it is a great value for the money. Continental breakfast in the lobby, refrigerator too. A good rest because it quiet and... More

There should be a different category altogether for this property. While the term 'motel' frequently conjures up images of seedy accommodations, previous guests' socks under the bed, unpleasant odors and no frills, this deserves a different category. The hosts/owners are hands-on, warm and friendly, and yes ... the muffins are homemade. You'd be hard pressed to find anything out of... More

I just have to start by saying i was so pleased with my stay here! The only time you realize this is a motel is when you actually step in the room. The furnishings are nothing special, but they are extremely clean. But ont he outside this place is a cute little part of the wonderful town of camden. Originally... More

This is a perfect place...so clean, so quiet and so close to downtown Camden. We had left an unfortunate place in Boothbay Harbor and the owner of the Towne Motel was gracious enough to have us arrive a night early. Home made muffins, coffee and juice welcomed us each morning..the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. This place... More

We stayed in two different rooms overnight on either side of a Maine Windjammer cruise (Lewis R. French... also highly recommended!). Such a cute place, with lots of baskets/pots of flowers outside and a small table/chairs on the porch outside each door. Both double-bed rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. I don't know if hair dryers are available; there... More
