My wife and I celebrated our marriage at the Whitehall Inn this past October and things could not have been better. We decided to have both the ceremony and the reception at the inn which was not a problem at all. As we planned our event, the innkeepers/owners, Rebecca and Russ were extremely helpful and patient as we worked out... More

Only stayed at the Whitehall Inn for two nights during our travels through Maine and I wish I would have planned for a longer stay. The inn is lovely, a step back in time but with updated conveniences in the rooms. We liked being able to open the windows for fresh air, instead of having to use the a/c unit.... More

We made an unplanned stop in Camden and what we found was a most lovely historical harbor town with lots to do. Our choice of staying at the Whitehall Inn was an excellent decision. The owners were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We loved the room with the most comfortable bed and decorated so elegantly. The... More

Camden, Maine is the quintessential New England seaside town with a gorgeous harbor, spired churches, fine restaurants, and a quaint downtown area. One of its most historic buildings is the Whitehall Inn. Built in the 19th century, the inn has served as the gathering place for travelers and the people of Camden for over a hundred years. The inn was... More

We went by chance in this hotel in Camden and we enjoyed its atmosphere of the sixties in the US East Coast. The staff was very friendly. We couldn't try the restaurant, being closed that day. The room was comfortable, and "warmer" than a modern Hotel one. More

Very classy Inn. The bed was amazing, the old fashioned clawfoot tube had a shower that didn't just spray - it deluged, uhm, luxurious!! Breakfast was topnotch, fresh squeezed orange juice, bowl of fresh fruit and choice of buffet or menu options. The pancakes are outstanding. The scrambled eggs had stuff in them that made them taste amazing. The staff... More

We spent two nights and had a wonderful stay. Locations could not be more convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was not large but certainly big enough. Bed was extremely comfortable. Food in the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner. It's just a little pricey but well worth the extra money. More

The Whitwhall is more of a classy small hotel. It is historic, achitecturally beautiful and has a great location. The owners and staff were helpful and gracious. The rooms kept the spirit of the turn of the 20th century, but were clean and trim. The rooms did not have collections of bric-a-brac and unused old furniture as if grandma had... More

My wife and I stayed at the Whitehall Inn in Camden, Maine for a small get away. We only live 50 miles away from Camden on a lake in Winthrop so our life is like being on a vacation 24/7 and we have no real need of staying overnight when places like Camden are so close. We are very familiar... More
