If you are going to Bowdoin and also want to visit the Chamberlain house this is the perfect place as the latter is just steps away and the latter a matter of fifty yards from the inn parking lot. This is a new inn and it's spotless and well run. No gym and the elevator takes longer to go from... More

I was so pleased when we checked in , decor was beautiful, bed was comfortable and all new furinture and i was thinking how wonderful my stay was going to be .....only to have my hopes dashed as soon as I heard voices coming thru the air vents and walls of my room. I thought it was me, but since... More

A good night sleep at the Inn is exactly what we strive for. I am pleased to hear that you found the hotels decor to be to your liking. I am sorry that the noise experience left you with a less than exceptional stay. We have identified a couple areas that we have been successful in reducing the noise transference... More

Uppity atmosphere- def oriented toward Bowdoin visitors and "the upper crust".... had brunch in the restaurant on Sunday. Very limited menu- no short ribs which were very tasty on a previous visit... Where did they get the waitstaff? Very young and extremely inexperienced- do you really have to ask for cream and sugar (2 separate requests) with coffee? Nice kids-... More

As a brand new hotel adjacent to Bowdoin College we do have a lot of visiting guests that are associated with Bowdoin College. We do cater to all of Brunswick and surrounding communities, in addition to the entire Mid Coast Region and all visitors are welcome. We strive to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, as well as knowledgeable staff... More

An April college tour trip brought us to Brunswick, and we chose this hotel for its proximity to Bowdoin (hotel door to admissions office - about 10 minutes' walk). We also visited Bates, about a half hour west, and Colby, about an hour north. The inn is just off Maine Street, with its shops and restaurants and great gelato place... More

We stayed at the Inn last week and were delighted by the friendly staff we encountered. Rooms are nice and the beds very comfortable. I was rather annoyed to not find any book of info in the room, so I had to keep calling and going to the front desk. People like to know if room service is offered, hours... More

We came here for 2 nights on a great Travelzoo deal which included a voucher for food in their on-site "tavern". The hotel is beautiful and charming, despite its recent construction. The rooms are standard and exceptionally clean. The front desk was friendly and helpful as well. A few odd things--there are few amenities. No gym, no hot tub, no... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away out of the city (Boston) using a travelzoo coupon. The hotel is brand new, clean and modern, sitting right next to Bowdoin College. We had a great weekend there. The standout was the Tavern Restaurant inside the hotel. We did not expect this level of gourmet food in Brunswick, ME.... More

Thank you for visiting us. We agree the crab cakes in The Tavern are the best; I am glad to hear that you concur with several travel writers that have regarded them as some of the best in Maine as well. Brunswick has many scenic areas such as the pedestrian/bike path. We look forward to your return to try out... More

We got a deal on Travelzoo for two nights which included a credit to the hotel tavern which was a good value. The room was clean and nicely furnished. However, you could hear every thing that was happening in adjoining rooms; putting the TV on helped. Most of the staff was friendly but some more than others. The hotel is... More

We are happy that you found us on Travel Zoo. We try to make everyone comfortable and are working on the noise transference in some of our adjoining rooms. We do have great staff and will share your comments with them in regards to the friendliness. Thanks for choosing to stay with us. More

My husband and I spent the weekend of February 18 - 20th at this pleasant inn. We were in a handicapped room . It was very large with a king sized bed. Bed was very comfortable - We got up feeling well rested. The bathroom was twice the size of a normal bathroom with sink on one wall and tub,etc... More

Well rested is our ultimate goal. Thanks for your comments. You bring up a great point in regards to our accessible rooms; we will look into this to see how we can provide support for others while still allowing wheelchair access. We do have stairwells at both ends of the hallways; one of the first steps in the event of... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn this past weekend for a small getaway. We tend to look for newer and/or boutique hotels and inns, and this property definitely fit that description. We arrived at the property which is easy enough to find and has immediately adjacent parking lot (very convenient). Upon entry, we were impressed with the modern... More

We are very happy that you were comfortable at the Inn. Our location is convenient with on-site parking and very close to downtown shops and dining.
