I stopped at the Parkwood Inn last week. I had not been there in about 2 years. With the hotel under new management I was pleasantly surprised. The entire staff, from he concierge at the front desk, Julie, to the lounge/waitstaff Stephanie, to Hal the in house Chef it was a wonderful experience. All members of the staff were curteous,... We recently stayed at the Parkwood Inn in Brunswick and were pleasently surprised at what a lovely little hotel this was. We were actually not planning on staying in the Brunswick area, but our vehicle broke down and we needed to find a place to stay. We lucked out!! The entire staff went out of their way to help us... We were touring Oar and Bailey Island and needed a place for the nigght. The island rooms were booked so we tried the Parkwood. It was clean and nice. The fireplace was not even on and heated the entire room which was not the best as it was a warm weekend. We ended up needing the a/c to counter it.... More

Came in from out of state to enjoy Christmas with the entire family. We decided to stay at the Parkwood for our family gathering. Big mistake!!! The staff was rude to our family and made it very uncomfortabl throughout our stay. The event coordinator (Tammy) was the least professional and lacked customer service! As a teacher we teach kids to... More

Our recent stay at the Parkwood was anything but pleasant. The staff was rude and unprofessional. We had planned a family reunion function that was met with an inflexible, hostile staff. The function room had no heat and we had to clean the room oursleves. The hotel rooms were old and dated, mold in the bathrooms, wall paper torn on... More

We recently tried to have a family reunion at the Parkwood. Tammy, the bar tender? Was obviously unhappy to be there. Barely made eye contact let alone any gesture at a friendly conversation with anyone in our group. The room we used didn't have heat, and despite no one else being in the lounge she refused to let us use... More

We were on the road for 16 days site-seeing and staying at a different hotel every night. This was the best hotel we stayed in for comfortability. The room was really big as was the bathroom. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Nathan at the front desk was wonderful to work with and very helpful. They have a nice bar... More

Stayed 3 nights in mid-October. Room was nice sized, comfortable & clean. Wifi was a nice plus. Hotel is away from hustle and bustle, but near the major highways--ust what we needed after long days of leaf peeping. (We had a GPS that helped us navigate to and from the hotel). Front desk was always cheerful. There was a breakfast... More
