i read the recent negative review and it was a wee bit harsh. yes, you are in a corner toward the base of the harbor. yes, high tide/low tide. our room faced the street and its a street that gets some traffic. so you will be up early but you are there to take advantage of the scenery and activities.... We stayed an entire week and found the Harborage Inn charming, warm, comfortable and welcoming. Beautiful views, sparkling clean, great daily breakfasts and a very helpful friendly staff. Boothbay Harbor is the perfect jumping off location to explore that area of the Maine coast. Definitely will return.
