Our few days were extra special. Only living 90 minutes south, we were looking for a quiet, pictureque area where we could walk, explore and enjoy time with our canine. We couldn't have selected a better B&B or location. Kathryn and Peter Sullivan made this exception for our 4 legged family member to join us and for that we are... more

We are from Georgia and had never been to Maine. We stayed at the Bayside Inn in Boothharbor, Maine over the Labor Day weekend and could not have picked a better place! The proprietors, Peter and Kathryn Sullivan were the quintessential hosts. The rooms are charming, the view is spectacular and their food was over the top. We never wanted... more

This was the 2nd time we've stayed at the Bayside as a stop on our way north. There aren't too many nice kid-friendly B&Bs (we have a 3 yr-old), but this is one of them. We felt welcome the whole time, got good tips about what to do around town and our son enjoyed playing with the 2 children of... more

Second stay at the Bayside B&B. Once wasn't enough! Not frilly but so inviting--ample privacy, without isolation. Made-from scratch breakfasts-- Creme Brulee French Toast is a personal favorite. Conveniently walkable or drivable to all points of interest (village, harbor, natural scenery, including rocks and hiking trails). Kathryn and Peter Sullivan know Boothbay and are excellent at helping guests map out... more

We stayed the last week of July at the Bayside Inn. Parking was great. Location was extremely close to town. About a half a block to the bridge and then you are right at the docks. Couldn't have asked for a better location. (Request a room toward the back of the house. We stayed in the room facing the street... more

We just returned from our third trip to Boothbay Harbor where we chose to stay at the Bayside Inn with innkeepers Kathryn and Peter Sullivan. The Inn exceeded even our high expectations. The breakfasts were delicious - always fresh fruit, something for the sweet tooth, and delicious hot entrees as well. The Inn is by the harbor and probably a... more

The house is lovely, the owners are friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts were outstanding and plentiful. The rooms are spacious with lovely furniture and lots of storage space. The best is the sun porch which faces the water and the footbridge. The town is quiet and friendly. Great ice cream and lobster. Quaint gift shops and lots of galeries for... more

The Bayside Inn was GREAT! It was a nice and relaxing atmosphere and the Sullivan family were wonderful hosts. It is a perfect distance to be able to walk to town and see all of the sights that Boothbay Harbor has to offer. Breakfast was wonderful every morning and I specifically loved the Creme Brule French Toast. My wife was... more

My husband and I spent 5 days sightseeing on the beautiful east coast of Maine. The Bayside Inn was a great location to stay and is located right on the harbor. Peter and Kathryn Sullivan went above and beyond what was expected of them to make our stay very comfortable. They even got up very early with us on the... more

The Bayside B&B was a perfect location for our two day stay in Boothbay Harbor and the hospitality made us wish we had found it earlier in our trip. Kathryn Sullivan welcomed us like family to her spotless 1880 home which had been renovated and furnished in turn of the century decor. As we had been traveling for two weeks... more
