Just got back from another great ski trip to Sunday River and my stay at Sudbury Inn. Again, the food and room accomodations were great as in the past 20 years of staying at the Inn. In reading some of the negative reviews such as no heat.....really! sometimes a furnace will malfunction and all it takes is a call to... More

We stayed at the Sudbury a little after the leaf peeping season. We needed to get away somewhere quiet. The Sudbury is like staying at a friend's home. Very charming and comfortable.Great breakfast every morning. The staff was great especially Lisa and Robin More

First I want to say that we recieved service above and beyond. I had purchased a gift certificate at an auction in 2006. I lost it until this year. They honored the certificate without hestiation. I realize that this situation is not pertinent to other visitors however, I believe this is just one example of the kind of service people... More

We just returned from a 2 night stay. Staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable despite the fact we are in the midst of foliage season. Free breakfast was wonderful. Room was very clean. This is my third stay and I will absolutely stay again. More

Spent a few days in Bethel over the course of thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. We scanned the city for lodging and blindly stumbled upon the Sudley Inn. What a wonderful find. This was definitely the best place I stayed along the entire Appalachian trail. The restaurant at the Inn is quite fancy but the prohibition-style basement pub has a... More

This was our third trip as a family to stay at the Sudbury Inn. We thoroughly enjoyed it yet again - the breakfasts are amazing and superb value for money. Scott was as always a fantastic host along with all the other members of staff. We always stay in the Deluxe Suite as it has a jacuzzi bath tub to... More

I love this Inn. It is my third visit and the staff from front desk to servers are so friendly. Never feel rushed when I am there and the breakfasts (especially the giant pancakes) are the best! The halls to the rooms wind around like a maze which only adds to the charm. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom... More

We really enjoyed our stay here, so much so that in fact, it inspired me to write my first ever online review! They gave us a perfect room (room 7) for my husband and me and our two year old--it was actually 2 rooms separated by a bathroom. We had dinner at Suds Pub downstairs, with the great Tuesday deal... This bnb is overpriced. The room could not be smaller. We had to ask for a desk and chair. Once they were placed in the room ,we had to squeeze by the leisure chair to get to the bathroom. I think we were the only guests that weekday night. Why they did not upgrade us is beyond me. The food... More

Our ski club has stayed at the Sudbury Inn for our annual trip for many years. The accommodations are perfect for our group. They customize aspects of food service to suit our needs. The pub and formal dining room both well run, with excellent food. More
