The hubs and I stayed in the Eagle's Nest for 3 nights in late September on our Boston-Maine trip. It was by far the best place we have ever stayed. To give some context, the hubs and I are in our early 30s, professionals, and enjoy luxury relaxation over bustling nightlife. We also enjoy B&Bs to meet other guests and... More

The Mallard’s Haven room was beautiful and romantic as advertised. The room itself was comfortable and inviting and the Jacuzzi tub and showers were a nice addition. We did not use the amenities such as the pool or sauna, but during our tour of the resort from Alan they looked amazing. Jeanette and Alan were very friendly and kind. Jeanette... More

Am just re-iterating everything everyone has already said about Ann's Point Inn in Bass Harbor. The setting is spectacular, accommodations wtih every detail attended to, inventive and delicious breakfasts, best chocolate chip cookies (prepared for late night snacking), gracious and knowledgeable innkeepers. Ann's Point is a bit off the beaten track of MDI, but worth a little extra drive time.... More

We spent six nights at Ann's Point Inn for our first visit to MDI and Acadia National Park. There cannot be a better base of operations for enjoying the area. The individual rooms are luxurious, the common areas include a pool, hot tub, and sauna as well as a library of information about the area, the inn is on a... More

My wife and I loved this beautiful bayside inn adjacent to Acadia National Park. What an escape! Jeannette and Alan Feuer are wonderful, genial hosts. Jeannette's breakfasts are creative and satisfying, and Alan hosts a fine wine-hour at 5 p.m. each afternoon. The rooms are large and beautifully appointed, the beds are comfortable and the views out of huge windows... More

We feel so fortunate to have found this gem of an inn near Acadia National Park. The innkeepers here have thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay, from guide books to umbrellas to an in-room clothes dryer for when you come back from a hike soaking wet. The facilities are amazing, too. Even if it rains all day,... More

We stayed for 5 nights at Ann's Point. Alan and Jeanette were incredible hosts! The breakfasts were so delicious (organic, homemade, and well presented). They were always ready for pleasant conversation about our days travels. The wine and cheese was a lovely afternoon offering...and the homemade cookies every night at the bedside gave us that wonderful feeling of home. The... More

We stayed for 5 nights and should have stayed much longer. The hosts (Alan and Janet) are absolutely world class. The rooms have a great view, are clean and large. The breakfast prepared by Janet is excellent and different every day. In the evening the guests can gather at 5:00 for cheese and vine from the greater Maine area. Having... More

The hotel, the rooms, the view on the sea, the breakfast, the inkeepers....everything was really nice but muuuuuch to expenseive. They have a pool and a sauna, and a self-service coffee machine with cookies to get whenever you want to- but in my opinion this doesnt give them the right to add a 150 dollars onto their price. After Ann's... More

We feel that Ann’s Point Inn, the only AAA 4-Diamond Bed and Breakfast on Mt. Desert Island (home of Acadia National Park) is a very special place. In a beautifully scenic area that sees over two million visitors each year, Ann’s Point Inn is secluded, quiet and intimate, having just four luxurious and spacious guest rooms on two spectacular waterfront... My husband and I spent a week at the Ann's Point Inn. Everything about our stay was perfect, and our best B and B experience so far. The inn is located at the end of a road on the water, with beautiful views, a truly peaceful and tranquil location. With four guest rooms, lovely common areas, a lap pool, jacuzzi... More
