Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Pool looked great though we neglected to bring suits. Easy walk to eat out. Close to everything. Breakfast wasn't what I expected. Limp french toast to put in the toaster instead of the nice warm waffle that I expected. When I questioned the staff I was told, with attitude, that they weren't required to serve... More

We landed in Bangor late at night and needed a hotel close-by with an airport shuttle. The Econo Lodge met our needs and was clean with a proper continental breakfast. The only reason this was rated as average was due to the "non-smoking" issue. We stayed in a non-smoking room, on a non-smoking hallway. However, about 5am we woke up... More

I drive to Bangor several times a year to go shopping. Econolodge is always where I stay. It's clean, inexpensive & close to the i-95. Yes it's basic..but the beds are comfy ( although, I am a pillow snob, and always bring my own), the bathroom, though small...is good. The wireless internet access is fabulous. The rooms all include fridges... More

Funny thing about Bangor hotels - either super expensive and so so or just expensive and very very basic. The Econo lodge falls in the later category. The hotel is showing its age and has minimal updating. The beds are the same age of the hotel it seems. The rooms are very clean. The staff tried to be helpful regarding... More

The 4 days that I was there was great. The staff where nice and polite. The housekeepers need a little bit more happiness and better attitudes though( not all). The only down fall really in my stay was the pool and breakfast. The pool is "heated" however it was freezing cold the whole time there, as for the breakfast it... More

A clothes pole in a corner blocked by the bed and table, a limited number of electrical outlets already filled with multi-plug adaptors, no space too put anything on the tiny counter around the sink, toilet so close to both the bathtub and the wall it was hard to reach the toilet paper roll, combined to make this a unique... I stayed here because of a last minute trip & all the other hotels were booked. It was supossed to be a "Platnum" hotel - WRONG !!! Rooms were tiny & I was UPGRADED !!!! It was clean BUT VERY bare bones. This place should be your alternative to sleeping in your car; YOU CAR MAYBE BIGGER THAN THE ROOMS... More

Clean hotel, easy to find on the outskirts of Bangor, near the airport (no notable airport noise in the room though). Staff was efficient, plenty of parking space available, a good night's sleep. All in all a decent place to stay if you're on a budget (I wanted to stay nearer Acadia, but hotels out there were charging ridiculous fares).... More

Clean, comfortable, and quiet - with a friendly, engaging staff and a great price - what more do you want? Yes, there could have been a more up-to-date washroom - it was small but functional, had a well-worn door - needed an upgrade, but it was not a deal breaker. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The... More
