This was our first stay at the Myrtles. We stayed the weekend in the magnolia room. It has truly been an amazing experience! The plantation is breath-taking. The town of St. Francisville is so rich in history that there was no way we could see it all in one weekend. The tour guides are incredibly knowledgable about the history, as... More

The Myrtles House in St. Francisville is like so many of us; beautiful during the day, yet haunting at night. It is a former plantation that has seen many deaths, as you quickly learn on one of the tours offered on site. The most notable is occurred in the early 1800’s when the girlfriend/slave of the homeowner accidentally killed the... More

Date of stay 1/19/2012 I would have to say the Myrtles definitely lives up to the spooky end of it's reputation, however, it is also a beautiful bed and breakfast with great service, amazing staff, and has a delicious restaurant on location to boot. My husband and I stayed in the he Judge Clarke Woodruff Suite as part of our... More

It's a beautiful place to go for some quiet relaxation, and to maybe see a few ghosts! The people there are so friendly and helpful. The stories on the tour are always fun to hear. The town is also a cute and friendly place to visit. More

My stay at the Myrtles Plantation was one I will never forget! The Inn and the grounds were even more beautiful in person than in any of the online photos I saw! I stayed in the Judge Clark Woodruff Suite and loved it since I had access to the main staircase as well as the piano and haunted mirror all... More

We spent the night in the John W. Leake room over the weekend (sorry but no weird noises or sightings to report.) The property inside and out was absolutely gorgeous. I would have loved to have seen some of the other guest rooms. The bathroom in our room was very tiny and awkward, but I didn't mind. I thought the... More

Our stay at the Myrtles Plantation was on November 7. 2011, and I had booked the Judge Woodruff Suite for my husband and me. Have wanted to visit the Myrtles ever since I read about it. Seeing the Ghost Hunter's episode with Jason and Grant and Hester, just added fuel to the burning desire. Have begged since that time, and... More

We stayed at the Myrtles on November 15th and stayed in the General David Bradford suite. We were greeted pleasantly and shown to the room. We immediately looked around and walked out on the front veranda. The Myrtles web-site indicates "The General David Bradford Suite has one large bedroom with a four-poster full size bed and a private sitting room.... More
