I'm not sure I can add much to other reviewers' observations. The hotel is quite plain, like the Super 8 it used to be. It has no in-room fridge or microwave, nor an elevator. This hotel was a big letdown. Luckily we had a complimentary room, because I would not have paid money to stay there. Definitely needs updating. We stayed at the Grand Inn the night before which was very nice. Too bad the Kosati does not come close in comparison. more

Room was NASTY smelled like i dont even know what dirty carpet, hair in the bathtub,, only stayed there because it was a comp room and we had other people with us that had payed for another room would never stay there again more

The Grand Casino hotel was booked the only availability was Kosati Pine Lodge. Its 1/4 mile from the casino. Since we had a golf tee time the next morning we figure its fine to stay there. Being our first time traveling to Louisiana it was pretty nice. The staffing was very helpful and welcoming. We didnt have any problems. The hotel was bery clean and organized and most of all very IMPRESSIVE!!!! I would recommend this hotel to a first timer as well!!!! more

The people are really nice , but the place is a dump. If they hadn't comped our room I would have had a a fit to pay the 99 dollars they were asking! We ended up staying here (the Lodge) because all Coushatta Casino rooms were booked according to their accommodations desk - and they offered this room for $30/night. We got a comp room here through the casino. Although there is construction out front on the grounds, the interior is all new and very nice. Very comfortable king bed, nice furniture, clean, new carpet, AC works very well. Nicely appointed with iron and board, coffee maker, hair dryer, etc. more
