For those people that wrote bad reviews apparently don't know what a cabin is and there was no musty smell. I would have been disappointed to walk in and it look like a cabin from a magazine, it was just right. It reminded me of the homes that I would go and visit my aunts and uncle in. We were... More

We thought this was a great place. The Bayou Cabins were very clean and nostalgically decorated. While they are located near a busy road, we enjoyed sitting on the porch despite the traffic noise. We had cabin #7 which is a larger cabin with a large bathroom and a great clawfoot bathtub. The owners were very friendly, helpful and served... More

Although the original idea was to spend the weekend in Layfayette, this charming bed and breakfast, in the form of individual cabins, totally won us over. The owners were so completely charming and welcoming, we immediately felt at home. And with all there is to see and do in Breaux Bridge, we only made it to Lafayette for brunch on... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here while on a road trip through the south. These cabins are very cute and comfortable. We stayed in the Honeymoon cabin, next time we'll spend more for a larger cabin. We came on a Sunday and Monday, which was a mistake, everything in this town is pretty much shut down from Sunday night until... More

We really wanted to like these cottages, with their lovely balconies. From the balcony, however, you hear the constant rush of traffic out on the highway. Inside, the beds are small, the rooms are small, the bathrooms are really old and there is a musty smell.

There was nothing wrong with the service when we checked in. We did not get a response to a request to repair porch lights. The railing fell off in my hand when I went to climb the stairs. The rooms were old 50's cabin decor. The shower door would not close. The cabins are located near a main road and... More

If you want authentic cajun hospitality, atmosphere, and food, this is your place. Not much to look at from the outside, but the cabins are spotless, cute, comfortable and we had a great view of the Bayou behind it. The owners are the nicest people you would ever want to meet, and their number one priority is to make sure... More

We had to switch cabins because the toilet broke. THe first cabin was interesting, a bit rustic, but comfortable. The second one was a bit more modern and definitely less rustic that the first. The owner offered us to move when he learned about the toilet problem, which was nice. Cabins have A/C and it worked pretty well. Also we... More

All i can say is that this place is pretty cool - Just got back from a road trip ( Vegas to Miami) and decided to stay here after seeing the reviews on trip advisor... After spending nights in hotels this was a nice break from the norm, and loved every minute of our overnight stay, it's just a shame... More
