When we drove up Paddy, a big yellow Lab, greeted and escorted us to the front door. When I saw Madeleine's beautiful smile and smelled that Cypress aroma of Maison Madeleine, I knew it would be a lovely stay. Thanks Madeleine for the great breakfast and conversation. Everything about Maison Madeleine is fantastic, right down to the one-eyed cat and Paddie who has to have his tummy rubbed or you will not be allowed to go anywhere! We can't remember staying in a better place. The rooms were absolutely stunning. This was definitely the highlight of our road trip across the South. Breakfast was incredible too, the only downside was the pesky midges - but hey what can you do. Stay here!
