Stayed here for two nights on a business trip to Baton Rouge. We checked in and were given keys to our room and were upgraded (my husband is a Diamond Honors Member) to the Executive Floor - however, when we got to the room it was two double beds instead of the King we had reserved. I called the front... More

I am truly sorry for your inconvenience. We have been in contact with the city and the contractors; believe it or not, they are still working on the water lines. Unfortunately with this type of issue, we are helpless and feel horrible. I know that not having water for several hours is a nuisance and again, I sincerely apologize. It... More

Rooms are very nice, very comfortable beds. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful! It is worth the extra money (which isn't much) to stay on the concierge floor...keyed entry to the floor, free drinks and snacks at night, plush bath robes, free breakfast the next morning and a newspaper delivered to your door! The location is awesome, within walking... More

Stopped here on the way to New Orleans. The hotel couldn't have been better. Greeted by a friendly valet who made leaving the car a breeze. Staff at the desk were happy and friendly. The room was spacious, with a great view of the river and a comfy bed. When it came to dinner, we decided we did not want... More

Everything here was top notch from arrival to check out. We were in town for a football game, so the hotel was very busy, but this didn't diminish the level of service. Everyone on the staff was great. The room had a nice view of the river, and had all the amenities typical of a large modern hotel. Valet was... More

The staff are rude and extremely unprofessional. I was floored that a Hilton Hotel would allow this type of behavior by their staff... SKIP this on altogether!! More

Didn't know what to expect as this was 1st time to Baton Rouge downtown area. Attentive valet and bell service. Quick check-in. Nice room overlooking the Mississippi River. Nice restaurant and bar. Very clean hotel. Bathrooms while clean show their age in size and accessory equipment. Hallways can be a bit noisy though. Would stay again. More

To be honest, I was not looking forward to a conference in Baton Rouge. This Hilton however changed all that. From checking in to the cheerful, tastefully decorated room, to the pool deck overlooking the Mississippi, to very good conference meals, service, and the classic hotel bar that stayed open till 2 (yes, I can attest to that), this is... Stayed for two nights the weekend of a football game. Needless to say the city and hotel were busy. This was a nice hotel. Old historic hotel, compared to other historic hotels I've stayed in this one didn't have quite the historic charm but was well kept and fairly nice. They have a great pool which overlooks the Mississippi River.... More

Have stayed here a couple of times for a weekend getaway and it is great! Be sure and request a riverview; that is one of my reasons in staying at this location. Also, the pool area overlooks the Mississippi River with a wonderfull view. Valet or paid self parking one block away. Lots of historical interest in the downtown area;... More

I thought this hotel was very nice. The rooms were small, as expected in a historic hotel, but clean and comfortable. During my stay there was a false fire alarm that went off, and everyone had to evacuate the hotel. The manager did a great job of personally calling the guests to make sure that their plans and trip was... More

Thank you so much for choosing the Hilton Capitol Center! I am so glad that the fire alarm was not an inconvenience to you during your stay.
