I stay frequently in the Richmond area on business many nights out of the year. I have "sampled" all the hotels in the area and the Hampton Inn is in a class all by itself. The main reason I've stayed at other places is because the Hampton Inn was sold out......and I know why. It's the best priced Hampton Inn... more

My oldest child attends EKU so that brings me to Richmond several times a year. When I am in Richmond, this is where I stay. The Hampton Inn is everything a hotel should be! The staff is friendly, the rooms spacious and clean, indoor pool fun place to hang out, location great, etc. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!!!! more

This hotel is clean, but that's about the only recommendation I can make for it. The free breakfast is the worst of any Hampton Inn I have stayed in (and I have stayed in dozens) the fruit usually offered with breakfast is a pile of bananas and apples, the 'hot breakfast' is nasty and usually consists of very institutional looking... more

This hotel was wonderful and much more than we expected at the price. Great location, just off the freeway. Room was very clean with everything you could want, except for a refrigerator. Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was one of the best -- both hot and cold selections and beverages. Pool and fitness center looked nice but we... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel on 20 Feb 09 for one night. We were in the area so we could check out Eastern Kentucky University. The hotel is at the same exit as the university which was extremely convenient! The lobby is nice and clean. The staff were VERY kind! We arrived too late to use the... more

This is a nice property for the money. The hotel is older, but well kept and updated. They had a very nice, large indoor pool. We would stay here again. more

Our party of 8 people (4 adults and 4 children ages 9 and under) needed a hotel for one night only, a stopover on the way to Tennessee. We were looking for something with a nice pool for the kids to swim in, breakfast provided, clean yet not too expensive. The Hampton Inn in Richmond delivered in every aspect. The... more

This Hampton is typical of the chain. It is clean, quiet, and comfortable. Conveniently located near I-75, close to restaurants and gas. An ideal halfway point stopover for our trip to South Carolina. Our room was clean, and good-sized, with two queen beds. The indoor pool was clean and inviting. The wireless internet worked well throughout the building. The free... more

Overall a good experience but do NOT stay in room 334. This is the only room that looks directly into the apex of the roof over the drive-up area. It blocks any view and most of the sunlight. The worst part however is that it is right above the drive-up reception area. You get to hear all the vehicles coming... more
