We recently stayed here while passing through and visiting Mammoth Cave. The hotel is great. It is old, but the staff keeps the place spotless. Our room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. They also served a very nice breakfast. There is also a lot of activities to do. Overall, this is a great place to stay. I would... More

I truly do not like to write bad reviews, but in this case I felt it was necessary. I honestly would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed at Park Mammoth Resort this past weekend and unfortunately there were more negatives than positives for our stay. 1st - the decor is straight out of the 70s, I felt more... More

After visiting Bowling Green, we were headed to Mammoth Cave NP for the afternoon and desperate to find a lunch spot. We happened upon the resort and were very pleased to find them offering a Sunday brunch. While everything was basic American food (roast beef, chicken-fried chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes etc), everything tasted home made. Service was excellent and... More

We came into cave city at 6am and found all the chain hotels to be full or too filthy to stay at. Out of desperation for some sleep, we drove over to Park City and found Mammoth Park Resort. Are we ever glad that we did! First, the friendly young woman at the front desk was kind enough to let... More

Went to Park Mammoth Resort for an industry sport shooting event that took place on the grounds. This is the second year in a row that I stayed here and was pleased once again. Check in was fast and easy. The front desk very courteous. Our flight the night before was cancelled so we didn't get in until Friday morning.... More

I went to the resort for a shooting competition and had relatively low expectations for the hotel but I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely not new but it has a kind of rustic charm that I enjoyed. My room was generously sized and spotlessly clean. (For me, it's all about cleanliness.) The price was reasonable. The staff was friendly, accommodating,... More

Here's the deal: They tout a winery. Really it's a wine bar. The wines are limited to Purple Toad Wines from Paducah, Ky. There is no wine made on the premises. The dry red wines are mediocre at best. Don't even bother with the Cabernet Sauvignon--it will wreck your palate for the rest of the day.We purchased the Wine Package that... More

Okay, first of all I want to say that I tried very hard to like this place. It definitely was not the best place to stay. The staff seemed to be very friendly and also tried to be very helpful in taking care of us to make our stay comfortable. Bottom line, we had no heat and no hot water.... More

It is out dated but that is what makes it nostalgic. Can't wait to visit again. Just hope they don't change too much. Maybe some minor upgrades. The section that houses the rooms make me think of the resort on Dirty Dancing. The pool does need help.

Traveled with the family, two adults and a 14 year old. Our purpose was to take in the shooting sports offered by the RockCastle Shooting Sports Center that is part of the Park Mammoth. We were not disappointed in "The Lodge". Yes, the facility is older, but very clean and well maintained. The room was sufficiently large, and the two... More
