This hotel is fine, but the others I've stay in in Louisville are better. Rooms are small, typical for a historic hotel. But the beds were not as advertised. When promised a room with a queen bed, was actually delivered a double, and the front desk assured us it was actually a queen. But I'm sorry, my feet don't hang... more

The Seelbach was a wonderful venue for our event. The staff was very helpful during the planning process and the onsite staff during our three-day event could not have been more attentive, polite and professional. The Seelbach has a lot of character and charm. . .rooms were very comfortable. . .food was very good. An all-around pleasant experience. . .thank... more

This is an old hotel, it has small rooms and the downtown is very limited. The rooms are clean, the hotel is quiet, but I am not sure the $200 rate is justified. more

Attended a business meeting and trade show, and the accommodations were beautiful. Although the rooms are a little small, the ambience more than makes up for it. From the front desk, to the bell hop, to the wait staff, to the electricians, there could not be a more competent and helpful staff. From the time you arrive you are greeted... more

Beautiful of hotel, restored. However, the sleeping rooms are way to small for a weeks stay. closet very small - we needed two changes of clothes per day and the two of us didn't have enough room - and the safe in the closet took up valuable space. The bathroom did not have any storage space for toiletries and you... more

It includes everything. And without contradiction from me, the husband. We stayed 6 nights. We were in Louisville for the American Legion convention. My only disappointment was that we did not experience the Oak Room. They were closed Mondays, the only night we were not committed to a dinner or activity. Highly recommend 5+ stars! more

If you have business in downtown Louisville, the Seelbach is a good choice, much better than Galt House where I stayed last time I was in town. Among the positive things about the Seelbach: comfortable bed, very nice bedding and towels, coffee/tea service in room, the inroom safe is big enough for a 17" laptop, no street noise. The bathroom... more

We had a great stay at the Seelbach Hilton. You have to marvel at all the architecture of the building especially in the lobby area - maked a huge impression when we arrived. The Seelbach staff was very attentive and quick to help with any requests. The room has a lot of old charm - definitely adds character to the... more

Our group, The Knifemaker's Guild, just held our annual meeting and custom knife show at the Seelbach. This was our 40th annual show and we moved to the Seelbach this year after an 8 year run in Orlando. We brought in around 135 knifemakers from across the U.S., Italy and South Africa. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, of collectors from across the... more
