I only had one night in this lovely mansion near Central Park in Old Lou. Great communiation by the innkeeper, Jane in this case, a comfortable bed, lovely tub, lush gardens, special fruit and cheese plate, a fine small batch bourbon. It was heaven. Other guests were quite civilized. Will return.
Amazing historic home which has been renovated with modern conveniences; nicely decorated but not fussy or old. Wonderful breakfasts and good humour from our host (Debra) - be sure to ask her a few things about bourbon! Comfortable room (Louisa May Allcott room) with a very generous washroom and jetted tub. Be sure to take your coffee out to the...

My recent stay at the Dupont Mansion was marvelous. The mansion itself is beautiful. The location close to Central Park, where I walked every morning before breakfast, couldn't be beat. Breakfasts were delicious, and I enjoyed talking to Herb over coffee. Thanks for a great stay.
Beautiful restoration in lovely historic Louisville. The owners were so accommodating and we arrived in town without a reservation. Comfortable room, flat screen TV's, wireless internet, private baths, snacks, wine, soft drinks etc. Hospitality of the south is fantastic! Breakfast was also a delight. Omelets one day and waffles the next during our two night stay. The grounds are beautiful...

The Dupont Mansion was one of the best B&B's we have stayed at. A beautifully restored mansion that was super clean along with a very comfortable bed and great breakfasts. The rooms were large and inviting with nice amenities. Genny the innkeeper was fabulous and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful company, wonderful food. A lovely place to stay and breathe. Elegant surroundings that make you feel welcome. Superb hosting that makes you feel like part of a family.
We booked a room at the Inn at the Park (owned by same company) but were asked to switch to Dupont to accommodate other guests. We were offered an upgrade, and were very, very pleased with the change. The Carnegie room was lovely, as was the bath and breakfast. The Central Park area was a tranquil escape from NCAA mobs...

My husband and I recently spent two nights at the Dupont Mansion. Gayle and Herb were so sweet and upgraded us to the Carnegie Suite (we were on our belated honeymoon). The mansion is beautiful and, as most of the reviews below mention, is full of wonderful touches (wine for the tasting in every room, baked sweets in the downstairs...
