Just came back from Bardstown, Ky. and would not hesitate to stay at the Bardstown Parkview Motel again. This is a small, no frills motel that is just what I was looking for this time. It is located in an area with easy access to Bardstown downtown and a few strip malls (Walgreens, McDonalds) ; however, it is not a... More

We stayed here when the leaves were turning and it was beautiful. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious enough. We had to go and ask for extra towels but the staff were pleasant enough. it's close to down town but due not a pleasant walk due to the busy road.

This well-built older motel is up away from the road with big trees all around. The rooms are nice enough, but for a few dollars more, stay in one of the efficiencies with cross-ventlation, a stove/fridge or microwave, and a sitting area. Some have a back door leading to an enclosed yard/patio, a great space for kids &/or pets. (Tiny... More

I adore old, family-owned places like this that don't feel the need to "modernize". It's like a trip back in time, and much more fun that those boring, homogeneous chain motels that all look the same. The room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the area in the back with the kitchen sink and large luggage area was great.... More

It was just okay. The room was very dated. Could use a little bit of sprucing up. If you end up on the second floor of the building next door there's no elevator. Breakfast was so, so with limited choices. In fact limited on what they did have, so get there early.

So much for southern hospitality! Old and dated and expensive compared to other accommodation during this trip. Only two small towels provided, aircon ancient and noisy. Breakfast was the worst we encountered - Danishes which looked dried up or white sliced bread! We encountered two staff - one was ok but the other was rude on two occasions. When we... More

Very clean, quiet & dated. Took a wrong turn off I-65 & decided to stay in Bardstown (been to Bardstown 3 times...other properties). We stayed the end of June 2012 & would stay again in a pinch. Stayed at B&B's previously & PAID for the experience....Bardstown Parkview Motel is thrifty & good value!

We stayed at the Parkview Motel before we went on the Bourbon Trail. It is located across the street from My Old Kentucky Home state park and not far from Heaven Hill Distilleries where we started our tour. It isn't the Marriott, but the staff was friendly and very helpful. The pool was nice and help beat the 100 plus... More

My husband were to stay at this hotel last year during the Bourbon Festival. We were vendors at the festival so we got to the hotel very late (10:30 p.m.). Upon arriving to the room, we placed our belongings on the furniture (not on the carpet) as we all know not to do. While my husband showered, I turned down... More

We just returned from a weekend there and no it's not the Ritz, but if you like small owned and not box store this is for you. The staff did everything we asked and were so friendly. The quiet and peaceful view can't be found at any other motel in Bardstown. My only complaint would be lack of towels, only two and... More
