For a $42 hotel room on no notice, the experience was surprisingly positive. The hotel owners were very accommodating, polite, and friendly despite my showing up with no reservation at 11 o'clock pm. The room was clean and tidy, the sheets on the bed were fresh. The heater worked well, and there was plenty of hot water in the morning.... more
The rooms are clean, the bed fine, the TV works. For $45 per night you can't expect more. We've stayed here numerous times over the past four years as we travel to/from northeast Colorado to see our kids and grandkids in Kansas City. more
The two reasons I can think of to stay in the Q Inn are (1) you run out of gas on Route 70 between Oakley and WaKeeny, or (2) you are visiting family in Quinter. My reason was #2. The Q Inn looks like heck from the outside but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Most important to me is... more
