Stay was for one night....and that night there was a high school dance... Front desk staff was very nice and insured we had a quiet room away from all the rowdiness. We ate at Trofi located in the hotel. Food was good, atmosphere was relaxed. Overall we had a nice stay.

I always try to list pros and cons to all of my reviews. First the cons: there's an unfortunate amount of road construction currently near the hotel and my pillows were way too flat. I travel extensively. Customer service, cleanliness & location are important. Professionalism. The Double Tree in Overland Park exceeds expectations. An added and unexpected benefit is Bob the GM frequently cooks your breakfast.

Big hotel that does very well working with large groups. 10 minutes from the Overland Park Soccer Complex makes it convenient and just 5-10 minutes from a good selection of restaurants on Metcalf. Offered a very competitive rate for a clean hotel in a good area.

We had a great stay here at the doubletree. The staff were very nice, greeted us by name, and even gave us free cookies! The beds were soft. I would stay there again.

Not a bad hotel by any means. Clean room and helpful staff. But the hotel looks old, the gym is small and do is the restaurant/breakfast area. Location is good if you have business in The area, which I did, otherwise it's far from the city for the price.
