Right downtown, the Swedish Country Inn is near the Swedish Crown restaurant (worth a visit although most of their menu is American) and other restaurants and shops. The bed was comfortable, the room spotless and the bathroom likewise. This room had been recently remodeled, with solid-pine furniture and new fixtures. The room was warm, because the central heat was still... More

We stayed at the Swedish Country Inn May 7 & 8, 2013. The Inn was very nice, clean and the owner and employees were very nice. The room was clean and had a Swedish theme. The shower is very small (my husband is 6'2") and my husband had a hard time moving in it. I have to say that my... More

Stayed here while visiting family and it was a great resting spot for visiting and shopping. Just a half block of Main Street, the location is fantastic. The room was roomy and comfortable, clean. Small TV matched the small shower. The decor was all very authentic and nicely appointed. We were fortunate to be there for Chirstmas and the B&B... More

I travel a lot for business, and usually stay in chain hotels, but on this, my first time visiting Lindsborg, I stayed at the Swedish Country Inn, and I'm so glad I did. What a cute place! It's right downtown, so you can walk around to the other shops easily. My room was spotless, the wi-fi worked perfectly, and as... More

I was looking forward to a "clean" and "inviting" place to stay. I guess not too many reviews mentioned friendly, but good grief, the man who was in the lobby didn't acknowledge me until I said hello. Then asked in an irritated way if he could help me. I said that I had reservations. He didn't not rise from where... More

I always hate to read reviews such as this one. I wish I had been here to talk with these guests. I would take exception with the lack of soap and other amenities. These are always available in our guest rooms. As to the coffee, we will not leave coffee from the night before "hot" on the burner. A safety... More

Overall good vibe, very clean rooms, mostly a very nice staff. Noteworthy is the {male} proprietor, who's unfriendly, aloof....but becomes nicer & friendlier as time goes on. This did not dampen our stay at this lovely little inn; very convenient, as we come to visit family, who lives just blocks away. We've stayed here about 6 or 7 times to... More

We attended the Messiah Festival in Lindsborg on Palm Sunday. We live in Lincoln, Nebraska and have been to the Messiah Festival 5 times over the last 20 years or so. We have always stayed here. Consistently, the Inn has been clean, quiet, and gracious. The smorgesbord breakfast has always been a delight. The Swedish Country Inn is an intimate... More

Came to Kansas to visit my son and Since this little Swedish community is like 10 min. from his home decided to go and have breakfast and see what was a Swedish breakfast. The Inn is very inviting from the moment you park in front of the B&B to when you walk in. Very clean and attractively adorn. The staff... More

Very helpful staff, EXELLENT, authentic, breakfast with nice ambiance. I was there during MidSommer festival and, contrary to another posting I read, my first floor room was quiet despite the festivites and quite comfortble. The room price is in line with, or even below the cost of a many generic motel rooms. The community, though small, has unexpected features like... More

Close to downtown was a plus . but everything closes at 5:30 so have something else to do for an evening !
