Hotel is located adjacent to railroad tracks. Paper thin walls let you hear the train whistle outside your room all night long, every half hour. We spent 2 nights here while visiting our nephew at KU. We favor the Marriott hotels and find the Springhill Suite very nice and comfortable. It was a long list of problems beginning with the dismissal of the general manager and sales manager on the same day as the rehearsal... with no one from corporate present to help. The room was large but not well organized. Had microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and large TV. Suites do not have door separating bed from living room.
