Booked 8 rooms for a 2-day hiking trip to the Elk River State Park which is only about an 8 minute drive. Staff was friendly, check-in was quick. Rooms were clean and updated and comfortable. Would like to have in-room coffee makers, but coffee was provided with breakfast (bring your own protein.) Would definitely return. More

Very pleased with this Microtel. We upgraded this time and booked a suite. What a difference a few dollars makes over the standard room. We had twice the space and a little kitchenette area. The hotel was quiet. We were here for 2 days. More

We were in town for a family reunion. Not a lot of choices of places to stay in Independence but this was nice. The rate was a bit high for the area but the room was comfortable, clean and the staff was very pleasant. Would be nice if there were a fitness center. We would stay here again. More
