There was a lot of remodeling going on while we were there, but we didn't let that distract from our experience, as we figure it will just make future visits even nicer. We enjoy staying here, it's always clean, the staff is friendly, just an overall good stay. More

We got great customer service, the whole place is smoke-free, the bed was comfortable, with cotton linens (I hate polyester!!) and nice pillows, thick towels, plenty of hot water. All that, plus a kitchenette, free wireless, cable. What more could you ask for? More

For perspective, I have been a Priority Club member since about 1999, and I've been Platinum for a couple of years now. In short, I travel a lot. On a recent cross-country drive with my wife, from California to Virginia, we stayed at this place because they were supposedly pet friendly. For one night with one cat, they charged us... More

My wife and I go thru Emporia on a fairly regular basis and were looking for a different place to stay. Tripadvisor had some good feedback for this hotel so I took a look. We were able to get a good rate on an accessable room (my wife has had a hip and a knee replaced in the past year).The... More

Wish we needed to stay more than one night to take advantage of the fully equiped kitchen ! Anything you need is there for an extended stay. Room was large and clean with comfortable double beds. No breakfast served, but plenty of options nearby. Quiet despite location to the highway and friendly staff. More

Great place to stay in Emporia. Meticulously clean and maintained beautifully. The staff here is extremely accomodating and demonstrate a true commitment to providing a pleasant stay. I had a business situation develop that required me to be on my computer and phone till 3 pm, and the staff kindly let me stay in my room (even though I'd already... More

Stayed here on our way home from Tulsa -- all the hotels in town were full for Emporia State Homecoming and we wound up with a handicapped room. Beautiful, clean, great staff, REALLY comfy bed, and quiet even though it's near the freeway! Really nice workout room and laundry, only dissapointments were no pool or spa and no breakfast!! There... More

We have stayed at the Candlewood Suites several times. It is very conveniently located when visiting family. We tried another nearby hotel and was disappointed so we went back. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds are crisp and clean and comfy. Free wireless access. Wal-Mart is right across the street to do basic grocery shopping for use in the... More

We chose the Candlewood suites for the kitchenette. We were able to cook our portion of "Christmas Dinner" to take to the family Christmas dinner. (A turkey in our electric roaster, mac'n'cheese and sweet potatoes) The kitchenette was well stocked with all the cooking utensils and supplies we needed (Although I prefer my potato peeler) The room was large enough...
