Privately owned hotel, owner is quite proud of his establishment. Room was clean and comfortable. Don't know if the owner didn't trust us but he mentioned that he has a reputable place and was personal friends with the Sherriff and he hoped we were good hunters cause bad hunters would ruin it for everyone. We did not have a good experience here. The manager was very gracious and friendly, and the free breakfast was delicious; but the beds were VERY uncomfortable, the sheets/blankets/comforters/towels looked barely clean, there was rust in the tub from the water and the water tasted awful. We will not be returning.

Stayed here for 4 nights. This hotel is very convenient to the Amana Colonies. It is quite new with lots of amenities and close to restaurants, shops and gas stations in "Little Amana."
