The Marriott West Des Moines was remodeled a year ago, and it is lovely. The rooms were well decorated and comfortable. The wedding reception in the ballroom was a lovely space, with a dance floor in the center.

The facility was excellent but the staff was even better! they were the most accomodating, friendly, and professional staff that I have seen in a long time. The restaurant was very good. Just ate the breakfast buffet, but it was very nice.

Eventhough my luggage did not arrive on time, they made feel me better at the hotel. Excellent check in experience and good rooms. Clean, good space and definitely this hotel has a great location. Also even with limited dinner options they try their best to please you.
