We just returned from a stay at the Super 8 Hotel in Urbandale and were VERY DISAPPOINTED with the hotel accommodations. BOTH the shower and sink drains in our room were badly plugged. For the price, this is a good overnight stop when driving through Iowa. It is close to I-80, there are chain restaurants nearby. The pluses here are that the front desk staff was friendly, and you can get a 20% discount off your total bill at the Benningans in front ( including liquor!).
