Friendly inn-keepers, great dessert and breakfast the next morning. A must stay if your plans include Maquoketa, Iowa. Lots of history and tour of house included. Rooms range from huge to standard bedroom size. All a good value.

We stayed in the very large ballroom suite. We were greeted with a special dessert because the hostess knew it was our anniversary. The room was beautiful and included a large whirlpool tub, an amazingly comfortable bed, and breakfast brought to our room. It was the best night's sleep that I've had in months!

What an enjoyable experience my husband I had at this beautiful old manor. Upon arrival, we received a great tour of the home over 100 years old by Peggy, the caretaker. I needed a place to stay for the night while driving through. For about the price of a regular motel, I found at Squiers Manor. As a result, what would have been a plain night in a plain place turned into a evening of warm, intimate, gracious hospitality. The owners were very dedicated to pleasing their guests.
