Newer hotel right on the Mississippi River. My family and I arrived late and snagged the last room available and were very grateful. The train noise was a bit annoying, but I have a cold and didn't hear them as much as I thought. Excellent breakfast as in all the Holiday Inn Express locations visited on this extended road trip.

Just like all Holiday Inn's. Good, basic, clean, nicely remodeled. Try for a balcony with the river view so you can watch the barges go up and down the river. Beats staying on the other side of the building closer to the train tracks, which are used.

We stayed one night on our way into Iowa to visit family. The King bed was very comfortable, along with both firm and soft pillows. In the bathroom were thick washcloths, and a nice shower head. And of course a free breakfast in the morning! Only downside is it's right by the train tracks...

Our first stay at this hotel. We try to use different routes heading west to see family. We will definately stay here again. Super clean hotel. Friendly staff. We do NOT use the breakfast facilities so I cannot comment on those. I am very happy with the hotel.

I stayed here from February 1st-6th. Had a very nice mini-riverside room, double bed with microwave, refrigerator and flat screen TV. Nice, clean & quiet room in a convenient location. The breakfast was good, though nothing too exciting.

I've stayed at this hotel several times in the last year, since it is close to one of my company's plants. It's in a good location, just off I-80, and right on the Mississippi River. The back side of the hotel does face railroad tracks, and the trains come by every couple of hours, but not usually late at night... More

Stayed here on a trip to see my grandmother in clinton. Stayed in La Claire because of it's small downtown area. Would definitely stay here again.
