Beautifully renovated historic home with exquisite details everywhere one looks. From the artwork to the carpets, the woodwork to the lamps, the high-thread count sheets to the private porch off the Sondheim room, this is a creative sanctuary. A lovely house, great rooms and excellent service. Expect a friendly welcome and a good breakfast, and all just seconds from the main town square. Well worth a visit.

My room was absolutely elegant with lace curtains gracing the windows. I loved the Oriental theme. The bed was so comfy and cozy, it was the best sleep ever! Loved the quietness and walking accessibilty to downtown Fairfield. The manager provided a wonderful breakfast and interesting conversation. Looking forward to my return visit.
