We have stayed at this hotel at least a dozen times in the past five years. It has become a home away from home every time we visit Galena. It used to be a great experience every time, but in all honesty, the last couple of years have really taken its toll on this place. It's not what it used... more
Very friendly motel staff. We had two rooms and both were clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub area were also fine to relax that night. It was also very handy to get around due to it's location. The price was just an added bonus. more
If a clean room, customer service & honesty are important to you please avoid this hotel. We have stayed in 3 hotels during the past couple weekends & this is one that is not worth the money. We booked ahead of time through expedia, planned to come early to swim for the evening before continuing our traveling the next morning.... more
Overall my family really enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. Just a few small complaints...the breakfast was very small, they didn't offer very much. Stayed one night in this hotel that has seen some hard wear. The room was large and bed comfortable, but the drains in both the tub and sink emptied very slowly.
