Stayed for two nights in room 369. Positives: Mattress, pillows, and linens were of good quality and comfort. Breakfast was the usual continental fare. Negatives: Mildew on the shower curtain, no refrigerator in the room, and the employees weren't friendly. We traveled from out of state to be home for the holidays in Dubuque and stayed here Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The staff could not have been any better to travelers on vacation. They were warm, kind and considerate! Dave even helped me surprise my children by delivering gifts to our room. A great home away from home feeling!! More

We often choose Hampton Inns because they are usually reliably clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The Dubuque Hampton certainly met these conditions. The hotel is close to restaurants and shopping on the main drap so not hard to find. Seemed fairly new. The check in went smoothly and the girls at the front desk were helpful and fun to deal with. It is a straight shot to Galena, IL a very cute old town. The room was clean and very large. More
