Things good about this hotel. The price - very reasonable. I was able to stay here for 3 nights for less than $200. The location - close to the interstate Things bad about this hotel. I was traveling through on my way to Missouri for business and stayed at this hotel and it was the best hotel with the most comfortable bed and great service!! Very polite staff and a great manager!! Whoever wrote the awful review had to be talking about a different hotel, as you do NOT have to go outside to get to the breakfast room. There is one building. Also it is south Des Moines, not north. I can't imagine anyone having any complaints about this place at all. The pool and hottub are indoors and centrally located.... more

Do not waste your time stopping at this hotel. I was there during the AAU junior Olympics and because they knew the hotels were booked in the area they felt as though they could charge their customers any price regardless if you had a reservation. This is a very nice hotel. Probably the best in the area. We stayed in one of the King bed, jacuzzi suites. Quiet, friendly and convenient to I80 - 2 exits from Prairie Meadows Casino and Adventureland. more

this must be one of the nicer hotels the lobby is just out of this world great front desk vary helpful the pool and hot tub was just a great place to be the breakfest was great alot of hot food they have wireless its just a great hotel more

You do not have to walk outside to get to the pool. You can request poolside room when you check-in. If you plan on not using the pool, you can request away from the pool and exercise areas. This is not a basic hotel. The beds are comfortable and provide a airy, fluffy feel to your rest at night. The staff is trained on providing excellent customer service, so you will find your hotel experience pleasing!
