New, clean hotel. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Airport shuttle available. Its on par with all the newer Fairfield inn and suites.

Always worry a little whether the reviews will hold up in reality, but this hotel certainly does. About 3 years old now, but everything is still fresh and new. This is a very clean hotel positioned very close to the airport and not exceptionally far from the downtown area. I was impressed with the breakfast area and hallways. We recently ran the Des Moines marathon, and stayed at the Fairfield Inn by the airport. It was very clean and quiet. They had a van to take us to the start of the marathon and also had a pick up van. Overall, no complaints. And the Italian Resturant next door to the hotel was outstanding!
