From the picture of the place, I expected it to be fairly decent. All the outside doors look like they have been broken into, which is kind of a scary thought. Don't know about all the rooms, but ours, you could barely get between the entertainment center, and the bathroom entry. Definately no one in a wheelchair could have made... More

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us on Trip Advisor. I wish to share with you that the hotel has experienced absolutely no room break-ins, and that the problem that you are noting is related to the failure of paint on the doors. This is a problem that is in the process of being rectified.... More

This hotel is located on the outskirts of Davenport convenient to I-80. It was inexpensive and the proximity to the expressway are why I chose it. Like most Econo Lodges, it offered the basics, but not much more. My room was dark and underlit, the bed was worn, the linens were abrasive, and the carpet was well-used, but it was... More

I spent one night at the EconoLodge. Exterior of hotel looked well-taken care of, and was next to Iowa Machine Shed restaurant, so decided to give it a go. Rooms were small and dated. Towels were scratchy. Main positives: a good price compared to other hotels in area, it was quiet, staff was excellent, good food next door. O More

I was surprised by the positive comments left by others about this place until I saw the dates of the comments. A lot must have changed. This is the dirtiest, smelliest motel I've have the displeasure of staying in. I travel cross-country quite a bit, and to say this is the worst of the worst is no small feat. What... More

We stayed in this hotel based on price and location. The location was fine, the price was low but the room was in need of updating ..VERY TINY bathroom and wallpaper starting to peel but it was clean, had good beds and a super heater! More

Check-in was quick and front desk staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Motel feels more like a Country Inn & Suites instead of a Eco Lodge. It has a "country barn" kinda look to it from the outside. I had a queen suite with separate living room with desk, wet bar, fridge, microwave. Bed was comfortable. Two TVs. Stand-up shower... More

This Econolodge has all of the amenities expected of this class of motel, as well as the advantage of being next to the Machine Shed for food. The rooms are well maintained and the parking area is quite large. The staff is friendly and well trained. More

The rooms are clean and well kept but extremely small. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was inconvenient that their continental breakfast on weekends starts at 7:00 am, if you wanted to get an earlier start to your day. Our room had 2 double beds and it was cramped. Bathroom/shower area also cramped. No Tub. Room might be ok... More

Stayed one night in non-smoking room 147 (corner, 1st floor). The bed was comfortable, linens cheap but clean and the large desk crammed into the room next to the king bed was nice. Room had a shower, no bath. Toilet seat had not been well cleaned - stains and cigaratte burn marks (even though it is a supposedly non-smoking room!).... More

I've stayed at this hotel a couple of times, most recently in February 2008. I had a smoking room with a double or queen bed on the second floor. I didn't see any elevators, but didn't really look either, as stairway access was convenient. Compared to other hotels in this price range, I found this hotel to be clean and... More
