This place was chosen because we were going to a basketball game. It is walking distance to many eating establishments. Very dated but was clean. Real wood burning fireplace, so room had a smoke smell to it. Very high priced for a room stuck in the 80's. This hotel was chosen for convenience for us.

There are potholes all over the parking lot. The room are smoke free but the room smelt like an ashtray. The breakfast is a joke. Everything in the motel need to be replaced. This is not worth paying $80.

I stay at this hotel every time I go visit my mother in Iowa City, they have the cleanest hotel, friendly staff and, an awesome breakfast every morning. I would recommend it to anyone who's going to be in the area. And it's close to the University and hospital.
