Clean hotel, nice rooms -- this property was renovated in 2011 and the rooms are very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, and the popcorn was available each evening as noted on the sign by the fron desk.

Quite satisfied first visit, after this probably won't return. Reserved king, given 2 queens in far wing- so why bother. No reason given. Hairdryer had been ripped out of wall in room not replaced. 2 adults and a teenager stayed overnight at the motel while traveling for Christmas. It's not fancy but was clean and comfortable. A bed, pillows, hot water, working internet and no bugs. Nothing bad, nothing great....just very average and after driving 500 miles, someplace to crash for the evening to make a quick start in the morning.

This could possibly be the nicest Super 8 I have stayed in. The just recently remodeled the hotel. Only downside like many Super8's in the midwest is that they don't have an elevator. Other than that there is plenty of parking, etc. If you are using a GPS use Clive for the town not Des Moines.
