Stayed at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Cedar Rapids in December, 2011. I found the staff to be professional and efficient. The room was clean and nicely-decorated. Breakfast was better than the average hotel buffet. Location was very convenient to my meeting location.
I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Our stay for two nights at this hotel was very good. The staff were all very friendly, suite was large with lots of room to hang out or simply enjoy a peaceful evening. Complimentary breakfast was satisfactory and a good price for the amenities.

FALSE ADVERTISING WARNING!!! - The pictures of guest rooms on the hotel's website show 2-room suites. However, 2-room suites are not available! So don't be misled - if you want a 2-room suite, go somewhere else. That said, the 1-room suite we ended up with was fine - just not what was advertised and paid for.
