Immediately upon checking in, we asked to change rooms because we could hear another guest's blaring TV. The walls are very thin and the open gap beneath the door was pretty enormous, but the staff were understanding and accommodating. The bedding and bedclothes were uncomfortable and seriously in need of an upgrade. However, you get what you pay for. more

In the AAA book this is lited as an Excel inn - but it's HJ. This is a tough review to write. Cedar Rapids is in the midst of bailing out of the flood. So most every hotels is maxed out with displaced folks. However - that means the hotels are bringing in the cash - so a little cleaning/air... more
