The Indiana state lodges are always friendly Americana. The commons areas are casual and relaxing, though the board games could use some refurbishing and updating. Gotta love the buffet in the restaurant. Our room was small but all we needed, since we spent most of our time in the restaurant or exploring the canyon.

Very nice hotel set in McCormicks Creek Park. While it is an older hotel and many rooms are smaller, it is still a fine place to stay and relax. Nice restaurant with scenic views -- and watch the birds too.

The beautiful grounds and hiking trails make this property well worth the somewhat-off- the-beaten-path location & nominal room expense. We stayed because Bloomington had no rooms available, and I'm glad we did. The room was clean & beds comfortable. The lounge area was lovely.
