we stayed at Santa's Lodge 1 night because it was close to Holiday World. We are not demanding people, and I have to say that our room was clean. The pillows, bedding and furniture were pretty shabby. The pool was small and just okay, but again it was clean. There are only about 9 TV channels, which made for a long... more

This place was gross. Our first room had flies swarming in it. After looking at two more in the "new" section ,we just left. This place is filthy. I have never left a hotel until this one. I wish this site would give me the opportunity to rank it a zero instead of one. more

This is your avg hotel. No extra nothing! Very close to Holiday World, but for the price the rooms should be better. My room was clean. This is not a resort like they want you to believe. 1 star hotel. more

I am wrting this review from the room at Santa's Lodge. Upon checking in yesterday, most peoples roms were not ready. They mentioned something about the flu and a lot of people being out. The front desk folks seemed nice in handling the situation. The room is okay. There are only about 10 channels on the tv, but you could... more

Thankfully we only had to stay here one night. We stayed here because it was close to Holiday World and looking at the lodge's website it looked decent enough. Wish I would have read the reviews. I agree with all the terrible ones. The bed was like plywood and pillows were a slab of polyfill. Needs a major renovation and... more

This was the most uncomfortable bed and pillow I have ever slept on. The bathrooms had crud in the corners on the floor. The shower curtain was dirty with mold. The rate on this room should be around $50...when in fact it was $138 (with taxes). We will NEVER stay in this lodge again. We are not fussy people, but... more

Very disappointed in my stay here. They need to follow the business goals of Holiday World. This was the most unconfortable bed that I have ever slept in, my bath room would had made a great MOLD science project for someone. Wall paper in halls and my room was either rolling off or had been pulled off in some degree.... more

The atmosphe're was so bad we canceled our res. on the spot. Sadly we didn't come to this site to read reviews until after the face but we were lucky and found a room in nearby Jasper, IN. (20 min drive and worth it.) There were several people already complaining in line in front of us. Had to take my... more

I booked a room and then read the reviews. Needless to say, I was expecting to pay way too much money for a dump with no amenities. We encountered a very pleasant surprise. We booked a family suite (almost $200/night) and I think we ended up in the newly added part. The room was spacious (bathroom too) and updated. We... more

Tourist Trap should be the name of this place. There is no room once you walk into the doors and stand in line to check in during the afternoon. We went to our MOLD room and quickly went back to the front desk to see about another room. The receptionist was RUDE but offered three other rooms that we looked... more
