I travel over 35,000 miles each year in my car covering Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. I spend two to three nights a week in hotels. I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express over a dozen times in the last three years and I look forward to my stays. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, the staff... More

Hotel was a little hard to find because it is off the beaten path, but what a find!!!! The staff treated me just like family, which is nice after traveling across country and dealing with employees from everything from toll booths to hotels.... They sent us to several local establishments which only locals could know about. The room was fantastically... More

I have no doubt that this was the nicest hotel available in the area, but it still wasn't an enjoyable experience. The room was spacious but outdated, and there was a cigarette burn in the blanket on the end of the bed. The elevator and hallways were musty and smelled like smoke and the water stunk. There was no luggage... More

The hotel was decent with nice staff and tasty breakfast. However, the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Our non-smoking room didn't smell, but you notice it as soon as you exit your room. Rooms were very spacious. Also, the hotel has little insulation. We could hear the nearby interstate as well as what sounded like a herd of elephants at... More

The hotel was very nice. Looked as though it had recently been remodeled. Room was large. The TV was a little outdated, but we did not even turn it on, so it was not really a problem for us. The front desk staff was extremely nice and the lobby/dining room was very clean. The free breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast... More

We were in Rensselaer for a family reunion, and it was either this place or two very scary-looking budget hotels. The rooms were, thankfully, nice and clean, the beds nice and firm, the bathroom adequate, the free breakfast above-average. The place was pet-friendly, with several foo-foo dogs in evidence. And the free wireless Internet was actually quite fast. The drawbacks:... More

We were traveling across Indiana and wanting to make a stop. We found this Holiday Inn Express in a small Indiana Town on 65. The clerks were pleasant and helped in everyway. Very Clean and a great Hot Breakfast More

Not impressed. Often use Holiday Inn Express and this was very poor in comparison. On a cold night, I arrive to a room at midnight with the air conditioning on full blast. Loud hallways. More
