Me my mom and dad all stayed here last night. Sadly we are booked until Saturday which is two more days. We all came up here for family weekend for my brother at BSU. Let's see what can I say about this place without going on a rant. Well first off the bed is hard as a rock and the... More

My husband and I and our daughter stayed there after a ten hour drive to Muncie. I am originally from that part of Muncie, moved away a year ago. The man at the front desk was very nice.Breakfast was nice. Plumbing went bad, smell in room, said they fixed it but didn't so gave us a nice suite but it... More

I didn't have any problems here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi worked reliably. The room was comfortable and I did not smell cigarette smoke, as others have said. They are remodeling the first floor hallway, so I stayed on the second floor this time. No refrigerator or microwave in the second floor room. I definately do... More

We stayed for a weekend getaway so the kids could swim. My daughter left her gameboy in the room and when I called to get it back they said they never found it. I know she forgot it in the room, but that doesn't mean you can lie and keep it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless... More

As others have said, the hotel smells like smoke as you walk down the halls. Halls get stifling hot and seem to have no ventilation. I felt claustrophobic. The room was ok at best. Bed linens were a bit old. No fridge. Super-thin walls. I've never stayed at a hotel before where the sound bothered me before this. We could... More

Even though I was in a non-smoking room, the second floor seemed to be non-smoking for every other room. The entire hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. Additionally, while they cleaned the rooms daily, the hallways were generally filthy. For days, someone's underwear was wadded into a corner at the top of the stairs. There was a tiny "fitness center"--with one... More

Room smelled when we go there, 1 light bulb was out, wash cloth and hand towel had old make up on them. When we got up in the morning I found a live bug in my bed, hubby took it to the front desk and they said " oh it prob. came in on someone". After hubby got back I... More

After I checked in, I went to get some ice. I was on the second floor, and there is no ice maker there, so I had to go downstairs. There is no elevator, either. There was a sign on the ice machine stating that it was out of order and directing guests to go next door to the gas station... More

Hotel is on a quieter street in a safe area near Ball State University. Compared to other Best Western properties, it was on par. Positives: Very large, clean, properly heated indoor pool. Quiet except for guests above stomping around occasionally. Friendly front desk receptionist. Negatives: Small breakfast area with limited choices. Room with two Double Beds was small, especially bathroom... More

The hotel is good for the price. It is somewhat shabby and there are few if any extra amenities (no conditioner, 1 bar of soap, and the breakfast is mediocre). But, it is clean, the front desk is friendly, the beds were comfortable, and I would have used the pool area if there had been time. There were a number... More
