Hard to find hotels that accept pets free. Red roof inn has always been our choice for hotels because of that. Most hotels expect a non-refundable deposit. We stayed here comfortably for a couple nights while visiting the nearby dunes. Room wasn't updated, but it was clean, close enough to the beach and reasonably priced. We couldn't see spending twice as much (or more) just to be lakeside. It seemed to be one of the few dog-friendly hotels in the area, and we appreciated that as well. More
