I work all over In. Mich. And IL and always come back home to the Best Western La Porte. For me thats how the staff and management make you feel right at home. I have never had a bad stay, rooms are well maintained, comman areas also. It is just a great place to stay.

This is an older hotel although the lobby & atrium area were very nicely decorated. The room was also nice as far as the comfort of the beds and such, BUT, there was hair all over the place & it wasn't mine. Friendly, helpful staff start the weekend off right. On to a comfortable room, pleasant commons area and great restaurant for a great reunion with friends. I love going back every year.

I've been staying at this hotel one to two nights a week for the past 2 years. The staff here is absolutely amazing, it seems they never have a bad day. My fiance and I have been staying here every month for his drills and we really like it. The only complaint I do have is you can hear outside the walls by the pool. Other than that the staff has been more than helpful and we will keep coming back.
