The "standard" rooms here were very nice before they were renovated and are even better now. This is one place you can actually believe the photos they provide on website. I come here just for the hotel - luxurious bathroom, reliable and free wifi, good food at buffet. And a few hours at the casino makes it a mini getaway...

I got a room overnite there and it was fantastic, everything was new and clean, staff was courteous I read some reviews before I went and they were not accurate I rate this place a ten as far as cleanliness and appearance

It was a very good experience staying at the Ameristar East.Big spacious (luxurious rooms),good casino, small business centre .food was average .nothing around the place ( middle of nowhere).I went for a business meet.
