Biggest plus for us is they take pets at $75 additional. We traveled w/ small 5 pound chihuahua, no problems but be sure you have your dog's paperwork. This is the only time I've stayed at a Candlewood so the experience may just reflect the brand. Lots of space, great price but a pretty basic standard of decor etc. I paid ~$60 a night for a 1 bed suite within fairly easy reach of Chicago - you can't knock it on vfm!
